I've loved growing and caring for living things since I was a small child growing up in rural Iowa. I've been growing and designing flowers near Harrisonburg, Virginia since I moved to the Shenandoah Valley in 2005. I enjoy designing bouquets just as much as I love working in the gardens -- starting the seeds under grow lights, preparing garden beds, planting transplants into fertile soil, mulching and weeding, tending and nurturing.

Growing beautiful, vibrant bouquets from scratch requires an enormous amount of hard work and dirt under the fingernails, and it's totally worth it! I am committed to growing high quality, chemical-free flowers in a sustainable way, using no-till, regenerative farming practices. The earth, as abundant in food and beauty as it is, deserves no less.
